Going on vacation, we are faced with the problem of acquiring a portable radio (also called a boom box) for the rest. After reviewing a variety of options, we opted for the brand Panasonic Boombox, namely model RX-ES29EE-S. What we captured this Boombox? First, its stylish, space view, display blue colors, convenience of cassette and CD player. Secondly, it was quality and quite powerful sound for this class of receiver, besides the existing surround sound Sound Virtualizer allows you to organize mini-disco for her friends. I use this radio for 4 years. During this period of time the device has not been repaired. Failures was not. Package includes: remote control, power cord. The design of this VCR is awesome, just glad the convenient location of the buttons and wheel selections/search for radio stations.The radio plays as normal CD-DA discs and MP3 (CD-R, CD-RW). Plays mp3 files with a bit rate (bitrate) 32 kbps-320 kbps and sampling frequency of 32kHz, 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz. Ability to scroll forward/backwards mp3 file, i.e. you can only listen to the tracks from beginning to end. In the radio there is a possibility of the following playback modes: repeat 1 song, repeat all songs, shuffle mode, play all songs of the selected album without repetition (MP3), playing all songs of the selected album repeat (MP3). Here it should be noted that the random playback mode “Random” does NOT work with MP3 discs, which in my opinion is a major shortcoming. Also has the ability to play tracks in the program (the program can contain up to 24 tracks and is saved in memory until the disk is removed). Regarding the sound we can say that the volume for home listening to the radio enough (10 W per each speaker), only a little, in my opinion, the low frequencies (bass). There is certainly an equalizer with four modes: heavy (adds bass)-clean (clean high frequency reproduction-the soft (background tracks) vocals (stressed voice) , but to be honest it is better to disable because it’s no use. Or to set an alarm that will play a cassette, CD or radio at a preset time.During a power failure, all settings of the tape slipping – time, alarm, memory for radio stations. So better to install 4 AA batteries for the memory block, which is located in the battery compartment.
