I just bought this with my new Show and thought it would work perfectly. Then today, as I am listening to music, the show falls off the counter and shatters on the ground. We had this sitting on our kitchen counter a good 6-10 inches from the edge. The vibrations from the music must of made this stand slide off the counter. It was not even overly loud as my wife, daughter and I were sitting 5 feet away from it listening. I would not recommend using this stand f you listen to music as it is not very stable. Now I have a $200 piece of broken glass because of this.

In truth, this stand should be standard for the Echo Show gen 2. It not only does a good job of making the Show more visible (and you can adjust the angle), but I personally believe it improves the sound quality. My only complaints are that it should be cheaper (fair disclosure: I bought mine during the Prime Day sale, so it wasn’t quite as expensive), and honestly I think it should come standard with the Echo Show.It comes with a special plastic key to undo a couple of rubberized screws on the bottom of the Echo Show, and then you use the same key to fasten similar screws from the stand to the Echo Show chassis. (Lacking the little tool, a coin would also work.) Once attached, the base feels quite secure, and the bottom of the stand is slightly rubberized so it doesn’t move or vibrate.Would I buy it again? Only if on sale. But I would because I think it’s a needed accessory.

Don’t like this stand at all, the positioning is nice but it’s extremely wobbly if you touch it at all.

It’s made of plastic, so not extremely durable, but serves its purpose. The Echo Show locks into it. It raises the device, which I wanted in case any spills occur on the counter near it. The tilt feature is nice, especially for video calls.

I love this device! The possibilities are endless. I use it for just about everything and have just scratched the surface on what it can do. And the sound is amazing! Easy functionality and very user friendly!

Stand is good and fits perfect. Tilts as needed. Good positioning for video call. But price is too high for a stand.

Love the tilt feature on this stand. I really think that it helps to improve the overall sound of the speakers too!! Great price too.

The additional height the stand provides for the speaker means a lot when positioned on the kitchen counter and viewed from the breakfast island.
