Comment:
I purchased this SL3 for $550 and also a 17-55 F2.8 lens for $550. I will have to say this setup is by far the best bang for the buck at $1100. The photos are stellar quality for this price point! Great 4k timelapse features, inbody video digital stabilization, extremely small for a dslr yet fits comfortably in my hand, newest digic8 chip, double the battery life compared to the M50 and great low light performance. Now the only bad issue is that the SL3 only has 9 auto focus points in the view finder which really is not a big dealbreaker in my opinion. All the auto focus points and eye tracking features work great on the touch screen just like the M50. The M50 and the SL3 share almost the same specs accept the view finder and obviously it is not a mirrorless camera. I personally like the feel of the traditional DSLR and an optical view finder. Yes yes this camera performs stellar at this price point! If you can afford it buy the body only and separately buy the Canon 17-55 F2.8-IS Lens over the kit lens. A good lens really makes the difference.
