Latest review: We needed a camera that could be in a fixed position to record a rectangular space to the front and then allow for immediate feedback. This camera is well built but is truly designed as a 360' camera angle, an idea I find a bit gimmicky and wholly unfit to our purposes. We erred in thinking that you could use this camera as a standard lense setting as well.

Latest review: For anyone who is interested in buying this camera, you will expect there will be a very noticeable gap between the core and the battery base. But I have been told several times from the Insta360 support team saying this is a normal issue. Because they didn't post this issue on their website nor their videos, so I think I should let any potential customer know there will be a gap, it's ugly, and you won't have the snappy feeling when you attach the core to the battery base. If you are OK with this issue, then you can place the order.

Latest review: We are pleased with the GoPro Hero8. We had purchased the Hero7 previously and returned it because it did not work properly. The Hero8 has been great, took it on a sailing trip, the stability in unsettled seas was impressive. Wish it came with a manual of tricks to use the GoPro, but have been using YouTube videos. Would recommend this product.

Latest review: I purchased this camera new The day after Christmas after researching it on line, I thought it would be a great addition for my paramotoring sport. So far it has proven to be unreliable with many glitches, no video and freezing up. I returned it and exchanged it for another one and it is having issues as well, but not as frequently. I am going to keep it until towards the end of my return policy to see if they release any fixes. I love the idea of this camera and the size but I do not recommend it unless they (Manufacturer) get these issues fixed.

Latest review: In general this camera does most things well. My biggest disappointment is the depth of field and range of which things are in focus. Latest review: First, I am not an expert videographer, but I have had good advanced amateur video cameras as an amateur for the past 25 years. Bottom line, I like this camera very much and would buy it again in a heartbeat. I chose this camera because it has a one inch sensor, much larger than the sensors in most consumer video cameras. So the physical size of each pixel is larger and it will be better in low light. This camera is at the very top of the prosumer range and takes images of terrific quality. It is a little bigger, feels very well built, and a little heavier than the cameras I am used to. One thing I really like is that it is a second generation design. That means Sony had a couple of years of experience with the design before they made this one, so the design of this one benefits from that experience. Even with good image stabilization, for longer clips, like a grandchild performance for three minutes, it's also really helpful to get a good tripod. IMHO the video cameras today from Sony, Canon, and Panasonic are all excellent...a lot better than me... They all have more features than I would ever use. Whatever the camera you choose, learning how to get the most out of that camera is much more important than the selection you make. Keep in mind that each of the features has been put there by videographers more experienced than me who thought they added important versatility to the camera. So whatever camera you choose, if you want to get better as a videographer, a good way to start is to take your camera out and try each feature and learn to use it (on non important video). As you learn to use the features you also learn the creative opportunities that each feature opens to you. Don't buy a video camera to take fine quality still pictures. The still cameras have much more nuanced color processing and better pictures. Also video cameras generally have a narrower field of vision than the widest vision available on still cameras, and for stills, that's very important.

Latest review: At first I assumed it was operator error, but the more I tried to make it work and looked up the fixes the more it was showing me how I wasted my money! The camera does not hold wifi connection very well and glitches when trying to move it. The mic is poor quality and it overheats when used for 2 hours even though with the booster I bought it holds about 2hrs still even though with booster it should get 10hrs! The video is grainy and poor quality after only 3 times of using it. When I first used it the picture was ok... not great but ok.

Latest review: I like the hdr rendering with monopod, and the ability to add plug ins that are useful. I shoot mostly photos so all the video features I’m sure are great, but I don’t use them. The mega pixel debate is ongoing, more or less is better? I can honestly say this camera out performs my other which has more megapixels. The images look sharper have less grain and are all around better. So more megapixels don’t equal a better photo. Unless of course you need to enlarge your photo to bill board size. But for my purposes this one hits all the right marks, except of course the red dot of doom, which needs to be edited out.Over all sharp photos. Not dslr sharp but when you can take a photo edit it. Color correct and upload to social media in about a minute without worry, that is a good workflow easy use camera.I still haven’t used all the features yet and I don’t know if I ever will. For my needs it’s a winner.Easy shooting, great app, easy editing, quick workflow .

Latest review: There are no mind boggling special features about this little gem. You point it at the subject, it captures the image reliably and you keep pointing it till you're through. The high resolution imagery is equally suited for your kid's birthday party or live streaming a sporting event. The HDMI output works nicely in a variety of settings. Sure, a larger camera with more features will do more work, but if you're on a tight budget, can you afford that larger camera? Great product but especially for the money!

Latest review: This case/camera does NOT come with a standard screw mount aka tripods, etc, making it expensive to find the parts you need to make it work with your mounting situation. I had to make my own. I also find it does not easily connect via Wifi all the time, a PITA, because I use it remotely. And the fact it has to be 'wired' for audio input (except a bluetooth mic) is a disadvantage. The documentation can leave a lot to be desired. And I found Garmin's vid editing program for it to be pretty useless.

Latest review: Received my camera today. It was described as "Open Box", "Condition Excellent", and I agree. There is no damage or even sign of use on the camera or accessories and everything was included and nicely packed into the original box.I had read some reviews saying this was a larger HandyCam, so I got out my older HandyCams to compare. The largest is a Video8 unit from 1995. I used it 7 years and documented both of my sons' first years and many important family events. The 2002 HandyCam DVD was a nice upgrade in picture quality and convenience. It was much smaller and featured Super SteadyShot, so the video was much smoother. The AX53 is longer than the HCDVD, but not as tall. I expected to use the bag from the DVD HandyCam, but the AX53 is about 1 inch too long and doesn't fit. Well, it does fit with the battery removed but there is nowhere in the case to put the battery. Of the three cameras, the AX53 is much smaller than the Video8 HandyCam, and smaller than the DVD HandyCam in all dimensions but length. In the hand, the start/stop button, picture button, and zoom rocker are right where I expect them to be, so it feels very familiar. One point notes is that the first two came with remotes for recording and for playback, so you can wire the camera to a TV and control it across the room. The AX53 did not include a remote but can use a smartphone to control it.I've used the Sony HandyCams and a long zoom Cybershot for 25 years now, and have never had a failure. The old ones are hopelessly outdated but still work. Expecting this AX53 to continue the family tradition!

Latest review: Whoah. I read reviews about the poor video, but I really didn't expect it to be soooooo bad. At the end, we decided to connect the Zoom Q8 to my iPad Pro (or iPhone 8) to use the Apple camera, and use Zoom Q8 only to simultaneously capture the audio through the twin Zoom mics + 2 external mics. The Zoom audio is fantastic and provides a realistic capture of the sound. We use it for recording classical piano and voice (art songs, opera, etc).
