Latest review: I got this portable monitor for my programming needs. It's incredibly convenient to have a reliable spare monitor when you're on the go, whether it be in a coffee shop, at home, or waiting for a flight at the airport. I have basic needs:1. The screen should produce a good quality display2. The build quality should be long lasting while still light weight3. The set up should be easy and unclutteredWith all three of these, the ThinkVision 14 nails everything perfectly. Usually, with products like these, there's always something that is off--but honestly I cannot point to any complications or issues with the device.Would it be nice to be wireless, touch screen, and standard 13/15 inches instead of 14? Yeah, but when a portable monitor weighs so little, works so reliably, and sets up so clean, then those added features don't matter!

Latest review: Great monitor. Build quality is superb. Styling great. Picture quality is the best I've ever seen. The 2K monitor is the way to go. This is the one. Love it. I've used and owned many monitors. This is the best one yet.
Latest review: This thing is gigantic. The pictures in the description do not do this thing justice. It is truly a work of art. Setup was fast and easy, it goes perfect with my new PC rig. not a single person has come over and not been WOWWWED by this thing. I'm so stoked to have purchased it.Only drawback was the shipping time, took a while to arrive, but when it did.. it was GLORIOUS. Assuming this is due to the fact that Fed Ex or UPS didn't deliver it. It was delivered by a freight company and I had to schedule a time for them to come deliver it. The box is THAT big.
Latest review: Forget about mounting this monitor on many types of wall mounts! Quite the living hell for people like me that already have a standard "fits most everything" type of wall mount already installed. Why? The designers put the mounting screws on the top half of the back of the screen (non-centered) AND placed a "ledge" under it. See photo.)There is an excellent chance that your present mount (made to fit the standard 4 screws on a flat back) won't work without some noodling...and I dislike noodling.Of course if this is your first rodeo just buy the suggested amount and you will be fine.If not, pay close attention to the type of mount your existing you intend to use.My fault surely, but now you can benefit from my mistake.Oh, and the non-centered mounting points make the monitor "hang" differently that a standard "4 normal mounting points in the center of a flat back" type monitor.I am now going to Best Buy to see if I can find a mount that fits this non-standard thing.I will bet that I end up returning it. This situation is inconvenient enough to warrant a return. Your time is valuable.
Latest review: Good screen and picture. Would buy it again and will refer to a friend in need of monitor. We love Best Buy and would go back for other stuff. Bought our dishwasher , microwave and washer and dryer. Nice we can buy one at a time and without interest.
Latest review: until this point I only have ever owned BenQ.they are by far the best monitors on the market IMO.so when I went to buy a new monitor of course BenQ was my go to.my sweet spot in gaming is 27inch 2560x1440 @144hz.so the ex2780q was purchased.loved the features the look and the fact it came from benq every monitor I have is top knotch sadly this is not the case for this monitor the screen glow and viewing angles were the worst ive ever seen on any monitor.to be honest this is a huge disappointment (returned) and sent me scrabbling to find a 27inch 1440 144hz gaming monitor (by the way benq has none but this one)went thru 3 major brand names and it only solidified why I only own benq.the 4th one was a charm and was everything benq should have been sadly it was not.hopefully they will redeem thier standing and redesign this monitor or pull it completely I will not give up on them my next purchase I will return hopefully to find the quality and performance they stand for.but this monitor is not it.sadly 1 star
Latest review: the monitor is super good. and is very easy to use.
Latest review: Great for FPS. I use this for PUBG, and It works well. But can't tell dynamic accuracy open or not.
Latest review: I don't play computer games so I can't say how it would work for games. But nothing stands out to make me think there would be an issue with gamers. The backlight duty cycle is fast enough that I cannot perceive any blinking. This monitor is a second monitor to my main much bigger display in Win 10.I use this monitor in a vertical position (requiring an external VESA desk top stand).I use it to display pages of PDFs, and various documents in portrait mode. And since the LCD is IPS the viewing angle is pretty good. Much better than the TN LCD monitor I am replacing.NOTE: The monitor comes with the foot stand attachment already attached. If you are going to use a VESA mount you will want to remove the foot stand mount. It requires removing one screw to start with BUT that's not all! It still won't simply slide out. You have to use a small screw driver to gently pry up and edge because the edge snaps over a plastic edge and is quite locked in place. You cannot get it out without using a small screw driver as a pry bar. They provide no instructions or pictures showing you how. Be careful not to struggle so much you break the glass of the monitor. Once I found the right position for my screwdriver it came out easily. But I spent about 45 minutes struggling with it. Viewsonic really needs some drawings and pictures and even a video showing exactly where to pry to get that foot stand mount off. It was so hard to get it off that I thought for a while it had been glued. Viewsonic even put a little piece of black tape on the thing so it would jam in even tighter adding to the difficulty of removing it. BTW, the monitor wobbles on the foot stand if that black tape is not in place so obviously they had to add that piece of tape after production started to fix that wobble. But I'm using the VESA mount so getting rid of the foot stand was my goal.
Latest review: I liked the reviews and the product and decided to buy it. The picture quality was great (through the single HDMI connection).I use the monitor for work (8-9 hours max) and on the 11th day the monitor suddenly black as I was working on my windows PC.I checked/reconnected the power cords and HMDI but still no light anywhere. That's when I smelled the pungent electric short-circuit burning smell. Immediately unplugged the power and waiting for LG Technical Support to get back to me. The monitor has not moved an inch and the temperature is my office is always around 72 degrees.Thank goodness this didn't happen when no one was around and cause a mini-flare up.I'll update the review if I end up using a replacement.
Latest review: One of the best choices that I have ever made, a fantastic monitor and one of the best that I have ever used
Latest review: I bought two of these at the end of 2016 (Manufacture date: July 2016). They've been great, but I decided to go and grab a third one to help with my attempt to multitask, and have a few dozen windows/applications open, as is normal for me. I purchased the third (Manufacture date: May 2018), and something isn't right. Picture looks exactly the same on the screen. Screen size comes out the same when comparing, bezels are all accurate. The entire screen (bezel and all) sits almost exactly 1/4" LOWER than the other two. I know it's a rather petty thing, but I have some pretty extreme OCD when it comes to things like this. It will have no affect whatsoever for those purchasing the monitors new, or in quantities of one, or multiples for that matter. This review is just for those who have already purchased this monitor before, and are looking to add on. There will be a noticeable difference in the height of the screen...

Latest review: I've owned this monitor for 7 years--purchased in Q1 2016. Great for gaming with a fast response time (5ms), but image quality for professional use is lacking since it doesn't cover the entire RGB spectrum (which most normal monitors don't, but it's still true so I knock a point for that). It's close and great if calibrated, but not 100% RGB color profile. There are faster response <2ms for the "updated" model, but I have no experience with that one. However, it's $10 cheaper and given my prior experiences with Asus over the last decade, wouldn't hesitate to check that model out instead. It is model no. Asus VP228HE and now marketed specifically for gaming whereas this one, at the time of purchase, was not. This doesn't mean anything, just marketing, but if you had any doubts well now you know this line was made w/ good specs for gaming. For 21.5-22" it's perfect median between the old 19" standard luxury and commonplace 24" monitors for desktops nowadays (though I'm sure mainstream is yet to reach that size). The best feature of the reviewed model was actually the removable base w/ a folding thumb screw. I've moved at least 3x and lived in 3 states since owning this monitor and the fact the base removes has made travel w/ it very easy--not sure if there's easier/better solutions for folks who travel w/ their entire setup, but this is definitely a good feature.

Latest review: I love having this little monitor! It makes doing work so much easier. It was a little damaged and didn't come with the cord, but I bought it from the Warehouse, so its not a fault of the monitor, just a fault of Amazon. Only complain is that the port for the USB cord is really small, so many mini USB cords won't fit
Latest review: This monitor checked many of the boxes for what I wanted and delivered on all but one...swivel. Technically this monitor DOES swivel, but the way they added this feature is tacky at best and in some ways useless. There is a disc underneath the base which the whole unit rides on that provides the "swivel" function. Unfortunately their design is highly flawed which causes the monitor to slide all over any surface that is even slightly smooth. Swivel your monitor enough times and you will find the whole monitor has moved several inches from where you placed it on your desk. This seems trivial but this monitor was purchased for an application that requires it to be swiveled multiple times a day for different viewing.
Latest review: Not touchscreen at all. And if it is, it is definitely not user friendly. Can I get my money back please

Latest review: This review is for the ASUS PB279Q.For some reason it's like the internet wants me to forget this monitor existed. You can't find product listings for it anywhere, and if you manage to find a link to its old amazon listing, it redirects you to the entirely inferior PB238Q, a 23" 1080p monitor.Anyway, I'm here to pay my respects. Despite the fact that every online retailer that exists immediately starts to sweat and babble loudly about other products when I enter the dread query "pb279q" into their search bars, I somehow managed to get a hold of two of these back in like 2014. They were my first 4K monitors.Right now, one of them is dying. A pattern of dark horizontal lines evenly spaced every 8 pixels has appeared across its entire surface, sometimes flickering away and back again periodically. They always did run a little hot, I suspect that the thermal stress of years of daily use has loosened a solder joint somewhere. I look at it with sadness because even now I know it's trying its best, but it's living on borrowed time and I worry that continuing to use it in this state could burn the lines into the panel, and frankly the panel is glorious and deserves to die with dignity, not be run into the ground like a $75 beater display. I intend as a last ditch effort to rescue it, to pop it open and see if there are any obviously degraded solder joints that I can repair myself as the warranty is long since expired, but I don't know anything about the interior of this monitor and I doubt I'll be able to find the issue. So there it is.Pros:- this monitor is so good that having two and losing one feels like going blind in one eye.- like all high quality IPS displays, this monitor looks great no matter where in the room I view it from.- the two of them side by side to each other were exactly consistent brightness and color-wise, and the combined space between them including bezels and a small gap of air was less than an inch.- zero ghosting.- the price was right. better than right. I think I paid something like $550 each? Apparently they debuted at $799. hard to tell how the price changed over time because nobody sells them.- full sRGB coverage.- good QC for the two that I purchased, no superficial defects (no backlight bleed or dead pixels)Cons:- not available anywhere for some reason.- no HDR. Understandable, given that HDR was still pretty new back then.- no freesync support.- 10 bit color support, but implemented as 8 bits + dithering.- artifacts occasionally. both of them do it, but it's very infrequent (a few artifacted frames per day), it doesn't impact the monitor's usability and it has not gotten worse over time.Even today, this monitor seems to outclass all other 27 inch and many 32 inch offerings up to as much as 4x its price. It's honestly a shame that in the years since it was designed, it seems that feature availability has mostly stagnated and prices have soared. I'm disappointed.
Latest review: The setup was easy. Being able to look at two screens at once increases my productivity.
Latest review: The color is great out of the box. Working out very well for photography and what video I do.Very bright monitor. I've turned the brightness way down.It is a seamless connection. Just put it on whatever cable you're using and it's good. The only problem I have is it occasionally blinks off/on a couple times a day. I notified Asus and they sent me a guide of steps to troubleshoot. Just got back home after a week and haven't had a blink all day today. Will do the troubleshooting if/when it blinks again. Asus is very responsive!

Latest review: No stuck pixels, not Samsung, adjustable height, no light bleeding, Great on Mac Pro. What more could you ask for?If you're coming from an Apple display on Mac you're accustomed to being able to make all adjustments from your mouse and keyboard. You can't do that with this display. Don't let that discourage you! Any adjustments are easy to make on the display itself. For most people, the only adjustment you want to make is brightness. We rarely use Windows anymore, but we have one of these displays connected to a Windows 10 machine and get good results.Very sharp and pleasant picture. I really like the adjustable height. You can adjust it down toward the bottom so the display is touching your desk. From that point, you can raise it up about 6 inches. A good mounting apparatus, it stays where you put it.Another thing I like about this display is the built-in internal power supply. I'm not a fan of the power supply bricks than many other units use. Very happy with my purchase. We use the mini display port for our connection. It does come with the old-style DVI Port for use on older computers.
Latest review: The monitor worked fine for about a year, then it started having problems when displaying videos. The whole display was tinged with red until I adjusted the HDMI cable, then the colors would be normal for a few seconds before going back to red. Then suddenly after a year and a half the whole display turned all white with an HDMI cable. I would not recommend buying this monitor for anyone. I called ASUS customer service and they would not give me a refund. Instead, I have to package up the monitor, explain in writing why it stopped working, and ship it via FedEx to Indiana. What a hassle!
Latest review: - This is for the 27" IPS Monitor -Update: It's definitely the anti-glare film that was causing the brightness inconsistency. It just must be a characteristic of the more matte finished anti-glare films like this one. My old monitor isn't exactly glossy, but it's definitely not as matte as this one.I'm not sure if it's overall panel quality, manufacturing defect, or if the anti-glare film is causing this, but this screen has a noticeable inconsistency in the picture brightness across the panel. Dead on, it's bright, but the left and right edges start to taper off. When I switched out my work monitor for this one, I instantly noticed the reduction in quality, especially when looking at Word, Powerpoint, and Excel files all day.I was excited about the price, similar to my previous monitor, but am sorely disappointed with this purchase. I would not advise purchasing this model.

Latest review: I received the monitor on 2/12/2020. It came with no dead pixels so that is a great start. It definitely does run at 100hz and works very well with my games. The screen real estate is awesome for multitasking. I really enjoy the picture in picture. I play a lot of Pokémon and use forums for trade. It is awesome to have both my computer and switch on one screen at the same time. The monitor does not have built in speakers but does have a 3.5mm plug. You are not limited to the stand. It does include VESA mount risers. I am very happy with the monitor so far. I was not very sure at all since I had never heard of this brand before this order. All other monitors in this category were far too expensive.

Latest review: Since I have Dell monitors at work I had high hopes for this monitor but was immediately disappointed. The image was washed out and the colors were faded. I tried adjusting the limited video settings but I couldn’t come close to matching together display of the built-in screen on my Dell laptop. I’m sure there are decent Dell monitor options out there, this just isn’t one of them.
