Latest review: Meh... works ok. WASTES SO MUCH LABEL TAPE! My other brother printer, that takes the 1" labels doesnt waste tape, and prints much faster. Spits out and wastes 1" of label before every print. Makes you sick to see. The app is ok, more complicated than it needs to be. Two major gripes, besides the waste: 1 the app is held up the entire time you're printing labels. As soon as you hit print, you cant do anything till you get a confirmation the label has printed fully. Probally fine for occasional arts and crafts, but I'm a power user with these things, and the wasted time adds up. 2: can only print one unique label at a time. I use this at my job, and had hoped I could create a list of labels and send them off to be printed. Not so much. Each label must be created individually and printed fully before you can move onto the next. Again, huge time waster when you're in a production setting. The battery seems to last all day, I printed 4 cartridges worth of labels yesterday, and didn't get any kind of low battery warning. It does print slower than my other brother printer. I will be returning, it just wont work for my needs.
Latest review: So full disclosure, I haven't bought these labels from Amazon. I'm still using the red/black label roll that came with the printer when I got it. However, Corban C's review brings up what is not so much of an out right flaw, but is certainly a limitation when printing black on the red/black labels. The first photo shows a series of patterns black dots of varying densities. The left most pattern really reveals the red bleed problem. It's most pronounced here because of the size of the black squares. The center pattern however, really shows the "Pink" effect. Since the dots are so close to one another, the bleed from each black dot merges with the bleed from the adjacent dots creating a very pink looking pattern. The right two patterns have more white space between the black dots and look ok.The second picture however, shows what the red/black labels do excel at quite well and how effective and useful they can be.If your printing needs fall within the limits of the black / red labels, then you're set! Also, as mentioned in the other reviews, this limitation is specific to printing black dots on these red/black labels only. When printing on the standard monochrome labels, the black patterns look crisp.

Latest review: When I took this product out of the box, everything seemed perfect. I plugged it in and warmed it up. Turned the switch to the hot setting. After the ready button was green, I fed my project through and it goes SUPER slow. I was surprised when it finally came out that it didn't work at all. NO lamination. I tried running it through again, with no success. DON"T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!
