Latest review: Poor quality and no customer support. The product is a good idea and is nice while it works. Don’t count on any recourse when the screen cracks from normal use (which it will). This is the second one to go that way, and several other users I know have the same problem.

Latest review: I really like this Forerunner. I use it to track the miles I put in on the disc golf course or during practice. And with the built in GPS I get a map of where I've been. I also use it for my cardio workout to keep track of heart rate and heart rate zone. I found I needed an external heart rate monitor for accuracy but it connects to the forerunner easily using ANT+. The internal HRM works fine most of the time but during cardio it loses contact with my wrist. May be sweating or not tight enough. I found something I didn't know I wanted to track. Intensity Minutes. The WHO recommends 150 per week. Who knew? So I have this as another goal for good health. I've had this a month now and like using it. Plus it was on sale and it's so much more than a fitbit at the same price.

Latest review: I really enjoy my 735xt. Overall I think it is a great product for what you pay. I would advise anyone who buys this to also purchase a protective cover for the glass to put on when you first get your garmin. There are two things that I have problems with. One is minor, one’s a bit more significant.Minor problem I gave is accidentally hitting the stat/stop button while working out. Extra protective covers are available, but I think that is something that the manufacturer should already take care of.Major problem has been the software. The first month or so, my garmin stopped taking sleep analysis. That was after installing the first update. Next, the time would automatically switch to pacific standard time, even though I set it to eastern standard. I now have the GPS running all the time so this won’t happen again.Overall I still feel it’s a great product for the price. The watch has a lot of customizable functions I have yet to learn.

Latest review: This was my first Garmin purchase and have been very happy with the functions and easy of use. I'm not a runner, mostly walking and hiking the trails at our local wildlife refuge. I gave up on Fitbit after the first 2 I had lasted less than a year. Several of the features I like the most are the GPS and the maps of your walks. Secondly, the app that allow for notification from your iPhone. I no longer have to pick up my phone to check messages and to see who is calling, I just look at my wrist. Another feature is that you can read the face no matter what angle angle you hold your wrist and is readable even in bright sunlight, something the Fitbit could not do. Finally, Garmin Connect connects to My Fitness Pal and my Humana Go 365. So far 100% pleased!

Latest review: I am very satisfied with this watch. I wanted something extremely simple, small, and light to give me the basic metrics on my runs without carrying a phone. This does that perfectly. I have been using it consistently for 5 months (~2 times per week).Battery: When not being used at all, the battery seems to last at least a couple weeks, but I don't use or wear it unless I am running. Using it ~2 times a week when running, I charge it about every 1.5 weeks.Weight/size: very light. Lighter than I thought actually. I bought the purple women's (I am a guy) just to have the smallest and lightest watch. Honestly, it is so light that it feels cheap, like a toy. I would be ok with the men's version.Accuracy: In 5 months at 2 uses per week, I have had one instance where it reported inaccurate location data. One one run it logged a single datapoint about a mile away from where I was during the first mile and then came right back on track. That screwed up the data for that entire run. Sometimes when I am running downtown near very tall buildings my instantaneous mile time goes way up. But, reviewing the map of my run afterwards I find no bad data, and the overall pace settles to normal. The time it takes to "find" a GPS signal when you are about to start a run varies greatly. Sometimes it takes 4 seconds, most of the time it takes 3-5 minutes. I just always start it while prepping for the run. If it is ready and waiting for longer than a couple minutes or something it begins a countdown timer to stop waiting (power save mode) and you can just cancel that to continue waiting (or being ready to go).Durability: It hasn't broken or fallen apart or anything like that at all. I take care of it pretty well though. I haven't gotten it wet besides lots of sweat.Features I like: connecting to the Garmin Connect app lets you see the following for each run: map, distance, cadence, calories, pace, time, and some more that I don't care about. I really like that you can connect to Strava through Garmin Connect and it automatically uploads to Strava. Also, I REALLY like that you do not need your phone. When you get done with a run, you just sync with the app on your phone and you're done. On the watch itself, you can see the history (a month, maybe) of your runs with basic info (pace, distance, splits, etc.). During a run, it shows you a customizable metric to view. You can cycle with a button push between two screens that each have two metrics. I set page 1 to instantaneous pace and overall distance, and page 2 to overall average pace and something else (I forgot, I never look at page 2). Either page is always displayed (it never goes blank or anything like that).I can't speak to any of the notification stuff (messages and calls from phone) because I don't use that.

Latest review: I bought three and kept them for a present. I made the mistake of not trying if they worked. I gave away the presents and none of them worked. Two have a damaged button (it is stuck). The third has working buttons, but the screen glitches to a point that nothing can be seen. Total disaster. A waste of money. Try it as soon as you receive the watch so returning is an option.

Latest review: I wanted a simple uncomplicated heart rate monitor that just did my heart rate while exercising. Seemed like a simple thing to find but in reality it was hard to find just a heart rate monitor without a dozen other functions that I didn't need. The FT4 was perfect. Easy to use and very accurate. It will continually display your HR and even keep three or four workout sessions in its history. The chest strap is easy to put on and the watch is just the right size.My only disappointment so far is the battery life of the chest monitor. It uses power like crazy so you need to have a bunch of the replacement batteries on hand.

Latest review: Overall this watch is fantastic. I've been wearing for about 3 months now. Here are my major things.Battery life: it gets better as time goes on! I read some reviews about terrible battery life, and when I first used it out if package, that was true. For the first week or two, it drained quickly (sometimes within hours) from updates and such. Now I can wear it all day long and end the day at about 25-45%. This is with bluetooth on, NFC on, always-on-display, plus with gestures turned on. Things that can kill the battery: if I'm getting nonstop texts (like a group chat) or if I'm flipping my wrist a lot accidentally (since I have gestures on). I typically will just turn on do not disturb mode on my watch if too many texts or will lock the screen if I'm repeatedly flipping my wrist (or could turn off gestures).Convenience: simply having the time on my wrist has been more convenient than imaginable. On top of that, being able to quickly see (or respond to) a text is amazing. I used to pull out my phone and click click click...swipe...type...click- and go through that whole rigmarole. Not anymore! I also have my quick button set for a timer which I use daily and have weather displayed right on the watch face. It's all right there without fussing with my phone and it's wonderful.Design: it's gorgeous. I was scared it would look too large on my *tiny* wrist, but the round face makes it not too in-your-face. I bought a little screen protector which has been great and the metal has been surprisingly tough. I do occassionally knock it against things and so far, no real damage. The metal mesh band is by far my favorite. It's easy to get on and off. I bought a regular watch band type strap but it doesn't fit near as well as the mesh.Drawbacks: I sometimes wish I could use the phone app to adjust any of the settings of the watch, but it's limited to a very select few which can be annoying to fiddle with on the watch's small screen. My biggest catch so far, I can't make or answer calls on my watch like I was sure that I could. It was one of the reasons I had purchased this watch in particular to begin with. When a call comes in, if I hit answer on my watch, it says to continue call on my phone. Trying to get that figured out still!Overall, it's been a huge improvement in convenience and efficiency for me.
